The Crown Majesta was the top line of the Crown family, intended for the most demanding Japanese clientele. Compared with the ordinary Crown it was set apart by a body of its own, richer equipment and a UZ series V8 engine, which the factory code UZS151 also points to. The vehicle had a longitudinally mounted engine and rear-wheel drive, and the emphasis was on quiet running, suspension comfort and an executive appearance. The generation from the second half of the 1990s is today among the sought-after Japanese sedans of its time.
