A full-color decal of the instrument panel with relief from the British manufacturer Kits-World for a plastic model of the German bomber Ju-88A-4 in 1:32 scale. This is neither a model nor photo-etch but a detail accessory for the cockpit. The layered print gives the panel a three-dimensional look as well as the glossy lenses of the dials, which are hard to paint by hand.
The Ju-88 was a versatile twin-engined combat aircraft of the Second World War, used as a bomber, a dive bomber and a night fighter. The A-4 version with lengthened wings and more powerful engines was among the most widespread bomber variants. A glazed cockpit with a richly populated instrument panel is typical of this type.
