1:35 British Army Webbing P37 Pattern Blanco No.97 Khaki Green Buff (Bren and SMLE) is full-color 3D decals of British webbing of the 1937 Pattern in the khaki green shade Blanco No.97, for 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A decal set for figures in 1:35 scale depicting British canvas webbing of the 1937 Pattern. The printing is in full color and carries a slight relief, thanks to which the straps and the pouches do not look like a flat print once seated. The guise matches an armament with the Bren gun and the Lee-Enfield rifle, as the name states.
British webbing was maintained with a product called Blanco, which was applied to the canvas and determined its resulting color. It is precisely the shade that the individual sets of this line differ by. This one is printed in the shade carried as No.97 Khaki Green, that is in a greenish khaki, unlike the lighter sandy variants of the same webbing. The difference is clearly visible on a finished figure and cannot be changed afterward, so choose a set according to the designation of the shade, not according to the name of the line. The maker carries several similar sets and without the exact designation they cannot be told apart.
Level the base with a gloss varnish, otherwise a silvery veil will appear under the decal. Release the decal in warm water, transfer it with a brush and do not push it with a fingernail or with tweezers. Apply the softener from above drop by drop and let it work by itself, because a relief layer reacts to mechanical pressure differently from a thin classic decal. With the straps over the shoulder and the waist, give the decal time and repeat the softener in a smaller dose if need be. A matte varnish at the close, which will subdue the sheen of the base and give the webbing a textile look.
These are decals, not a model or a figure. Paints, varnishes, a softener and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
