A set of full-color decals with a relief layer, intended for the cockpits of models in 1:48 scale. Unlike the sets for single-seat fighters, this one is aimed at machines with more than one crew member, that is at two-seat aircraft and bombers of German origin from the First World War.
In two-seat and bomber aircraft there is more than one seat to deal with, and the observer's or gunner's station is laid out differently from the pilot's. A set that covers only one position is therefore not enough, and conversely a fighter set holds different motifs. That is the main reason the manufacturer keeps multi-seat machines separate. In practice it means that if you are building a model with an open cockpit and two stations, this set is the better choice than a general fighter one. The manufacturer makes several belt sets of similar content, so the exact designation of the set and the scale are what decide.
Paint the inside of the cockpit and overcoat it with gloss varnish, otherwise a silvery veil will show through under the decal. Release the decal in warm water, transfer it with a brush and do not push it around with a fingernail. Apply the softener drop by drop, let it work by itself and leave the decal undisturbed for at least 45 minutes, because the relief layer will not take a brush being run over it. In a multi-seat cockpit, plan the order of work in advance so that finished belts are not damaged while further parts are fitted. When dry, unify with matte varnish and bring out the shadows between the straps with a fine wash if you wish. Finish the cockpit before you close the fuselage.
