Color instrument panels with a raised relief for an Fw 190D-13 model in 1:48 scale. A cockpit accessory, not an aircraft kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
In the cockpit of a single-seat fighter the instrument panel is the first place a viewer looks, and at the same time the place where the plastic part from the kit is usually not enough. This set carries panels rendered in color and with a raised relief, so that the dials, the instrument bezels and the fine lettering are not merely drawn onto flat paint. It saves you picking out and varnishing the individual gauges by hand, which in 1:48 scale is several evenings of work.
The Fw 190 was a German fighter aircraft of the Second World War. The machines of the D series, known among modelers by the nickname Dora, have a conspicuously lengthened nose and rear fuselage compared with the earlier configurations, so they can be told apart at a glance. The D-13 configuration is one of the late and few-built machines of this series.
Before applying them, check the instructions to see whether the elements are self-adhesive; the method of application differs between the individual lines and is given in the instructions with this set. Clean and degrease the plastic part from the kit before fitting, transfer the element with tweezers and press it down with a soft stick so that it seats in the hollows as well. The exact contents of the set and the recommended procedure are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
