A decal sheet in 1:72 scale with markings for the American twin-engine Lockheed P-38F Lightning fighter. An accessory to a model from a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Lockheed P-38 Lightning is an American twin-engine fighter that cannot be mistaken for anything else: the pilot sat in a central nacelle between two tail booms, the aircraft stood on a nosewheel landing gear and it was powered by two Allison V-1710 piston V12 engines with turbochargers. The armament was concentrated in the nose, so the rounds did not have to miss the propellers and converged on a single point. The F designation belongs to one of the early combat versions, with which the aircraft entered service in 1942.
A separate decal sheet in 1:72 scale for a P-38F model. It is the markings that decide which particular machine will stand on the shelf, because otherwise aircraft of the same version look alike. Which machines the sheet covers, what markings and lettering it holds and exactly where they belong are given in the instructions enclosed in the package.
The aircraft model, paints, varnishes and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
