Initial gun mantlet with the KwK 36 gun for the Tiger I in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART. The version matching the first production batches of the tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory from the Polish manufacturer PANZER ART for the German Pz.Kpfw. VI Tiger I heavy tank in 1:35 scale. It replaces the gun mantlet together with the 88 mm gun, in the version matching early production. The mantlet of the tank changed during production and is one of the most reliable features by which the production batch of a particular machine is identified.
The Tiger I was a German heavy tank armed with an 88 mm gun with a barrel length of 56 calibers. The combination of a powerful weapon and thick, if vertically set, armor made it the most feared machine on the battlefield in 1943. It was, however, expensive, heavy and demanding to maintain, so it was built in relatively small numbers.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and level the surfaces. Try the fit in the turret dry. Bond with super glue. Bring the texture of the cast surface out with a dark wash and dry brushing. Check that the initial mantlet matches the particular machine you are building, because the difference against the later version is clearly visible.
The set is an accessory to a kit and does not replace the kit. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
