An accessory from the Polish manufacturer PANZER ART for the German Pz.Kpfw. VI Tiger I heavy tank in 1:35 scale. It replaces the gun mantlet together with the 88 mm gun in the version matching ordinary series production. A variant matching early production exists as well, so it is worth checking which machine you are actually building.
The Tiger I was a German heavy tank armed with an 88 mm gun with a barrel length of 56 calibers. Its armor was thick, but the plates stood almost vertically, so it did not have the advantage of sloping like later machines. Even so it was among the most feared tanks of its day, and its service is still followed vehicle by vehicle today.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and level the surfaces. Try the fit in the turret dry and only then bond with super glue. Bring the cast texture out with a dark wash and dry brushing. If you are building a vehicle with anti-magnetic mine paste applied, take care that the textures of the two surfaces do not get confused.
The set is an accessory to a kit and does not replace the kit. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
