This aftermarket set from PANZER ART replaces the original plastic wheels on models of the American military truck M54 (the 5-ton 6x6 series) in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit but detailed resin castings of the tires and wheels with the combat cross-country tread of the Firestone brand. The casting faithfully captures the coarse tire pattern as well as the structure of the sidewalls.
The M54 was an American cross-country truck with 6x6 drive from the 5-ton series, in service from the 1950s and widely used in later conflicts as well. The vehicles ran on tires from various makers and with various patterns, from coarse combat ones to commercial ones.
Wash the mold release agent off the wheels, cut off the casting blocks and clean the mating surfaces up. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The coarse tread comes out superbly once mud and dust pigments are applied.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as resin castings. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
