Decals for a model of the two-seat Su-27UB in 1:48 scale with the markings of the Ukrainian Air Force and the Kazakh Air Force.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Su-27UB is the two-seat version of the heavy Soviet Su-27 fighter aircraft. The second seat is set behind the first and higher, so that the instructor can see ahead, and the machine keeps its ability to be used in combat. After the break-up of the Soviet Union, aircraft of this family were left among other places in Ukraine and in Kazakhstan, where both countries took them into service with their air forces. It is precisely to these operators that the sheets relate.
These are decals for 1:48 scale. The markings tend to be what makes a model a particular machine, so it pays to compare the sheets with photographs of the real subject and to choose the form you want to build. The exact number of schemes offered, and whether the sheet also contains technical lettering, are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Decals belong on a smooth glossy surface, otherwise a white veil will be left under them. First varnish the model over with a gloss clear varnish, therefore. Cut the individual elements out as closely as possible, immerse them for a few seconds in lukewarm water and let them rest until they can be moved off the backing paper. Transfer the element onto the model, set it in place, soak the excess water up and use a softener, so that the decal settles into the panel lines. Finally seal everything with varnish.
The model of the aircraft, paints, varnishes and the softener are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
