A decal sheet in 1:72 scale with Ukrainian digital camouflage for the Su-25 ground-attack aircraft, the second part of the range.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Su-25 is a single-seat ground-attack aircraft intended for the direct support of ground units. It has an armored cockpit, rugged landing gear for operation from poorer surfaces and racks for a wide choice of external stores. Ukrainian machines wear a camouflage made up of small rectangular fields, which is commonly called digital. Spraying such a pattern by hand is lengthy and above all it is hard to keep the same density of fields over the whole airframe.
A decal sheet in 1:72 scale with Ukrainian digital camouflage for the Su-25. The II designation sets this sheet apart from an earlier issue with the same theme and in the same scale. Thanks to the sheet, the intricate pattern is transferred onto the model without masking and without spraying the individual fields, so it stays equally sharp over the whole surface.
Prepare the base smooth and glossy, as on a matte surface a white veil forms under the decal. Separate the elements from the sheet with a sharp blade, not with scissors. The procedure for application and the recommended softener are given in the manufacturer's instructions; on large-area sheets the order of the pieces matters, as does how much surface you can manage to settle at once before the material starts to dry. Once it is dry, go over the model with a varnish, which will sink the edges in and even the gloss out with the surroundings.
The sheet will be appreciated by modelers who want a present-day Ukrainian Su-25 and do not want to set about masking a small pattern. The work asks for patience and a steady hand while settling the larger pieces. The model, paints, varnish and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
