This item is a kit of a radio-controlled model, not a static display replica. The abbreviation in the name relates to the finish of the body: it arrives already colored white, with the wheel arches cut out and the holes for the mounts prepared. The work that usually holds beginners up most thus falls away, while a clear area is left for your own decals and race numbers.
The Honda NSX was the first Japanese supercar able to measure up to the European competition, and not only on the road. The racing version with a naturally aspirated six-cylinder engine in the middle and an aluminum body collected victories in the domestic and the world championship, and its low, rounded silhouette is among the icons of the 1990s. The white finish without sponsor decals is a tribute to that very era.
The chassis is screwed together from plastic parts; it pays to tighten them with a light touch so that the threads are not stripped, and to grease the gearbox before closing it. The stickers go onto the colored body at the very end, on a degreased surface. Before you run the model for the first time, go through the play in the steering and the balance and let the drivetrain bed in on a smooth surface.
The model is supplied as parts to be assembled; the body is already in color, so you do not have to paint it.
