A plastic kit of the German Maus superheavy tank in the small 1:100 scale from the range of quick snap-fit models by Zvezda. The parts fit together without glue, so the model goes together quickly. The set also suits beginners and tabletop games. The model is supplied unpainted.
The Panzer VIII Maus was a German superheavy tank that never got beyond the prototype stage. It was the heaviest tank ever built, with exceptionally thick armor and massive armament. Its enormous weight, however, made practical combat use impossible and it never reached series production.
Cut the parts off and line them up; the joints can be reinforced with a drop of glue to be safe. Even though this is a snap-fit model, the result is improved by painting: apply a primer, then the topcoat color and bring out the detail with a wash and a dry brush. In a small scale, simple clean weathering works best.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
