The Matilda II was a British infantry tank notable for its thick armor, which at the start of the war made it immune to most anti-tank weapons of the day. It carried a 2-pounder gun and drove slowly so that it could keep pace with the advancing infantry it was meant to support. It proved itself above all in the fighting in North Africa, where it earned the nickname Queen of the Desert.
You will build the model in a moment without glue, and you can reinforce the joints with a drop of super glue. Lay down a light base and the basic shade, sand yellow for desert service. Pick out the edges and the side skirts with a dry brush; a dark wash in the recesses and dust pigments on the running gear will give the small model depth.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
