A simplified snap-fit kit of the Soviet medium tank T-34/76 in the Mod.1940 version in 1:100 scale from Zvezda out of the Art of Tactic range. It is a small model made up of a few parts that click together without glue. All the same it keeps the characteristic silhouette of the tank with its short 76 mm gun. The package usually holds a base with a flag and a unit card for the Art of Tactic tabletop game. The model suits wargamers as well as collectors of vehicles in a small scale.
The T-34 is among the most important tanks of the Second World War. The 1940 version was one of the first production forms and carried the shorter 76 mm gun. The combination of sloped armor, wide tracks and a reliable diesel engine made the T-34 an opponent that caught the German forces off guard at the beginning of the war. The machine became a symbol of the Soviet tank arm.
You will assemble the model in a moment without glue, though the joints can be secured with a drop of super glue to be safe. Even a simplified tank comes to life once painted: apply a light base, then the basic green shade and bring out the edges with a dry brush. A dark wash in the recesses and fine dust pigments on the running gear give even a small model depth.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
