Heinkel He-162 1:72 painting masks are pre-cut Peewit kabuki masks for the cockpit frames.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of pre-cut painting masks from Peewit in kabuki film for models of the Heinkel He-162 jet fighter. The masks follow the shape of the canopy frames and of the other clear parts exactly. It is not a model and not decals but an aid for spraying the framing cleanly and quickly.
The Heinkel He-162 was a German single-engine jet fighter from the very end of the Second World War, developed in great haste as a cheap combat aircraft that could be built quickly. The placing of the jet engine on the spine of the fuselage behind the cockpit and the extensive use of wood in the structure were characteristic. It saw only marginal combat use.
A degreased surface is the basis. Lift the mask off the sheet, lay it on the glazing, press it down and trim it to the frame if need be. Lay the paint on with an airbrush in thin coats and remove the mask before the finish has fully cured, for sharp edges.
The masks are an accessory for a model. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
