This is not a model of a motorcycle but a detail set of the exhaust system. It combines turned metal parts with photo-etched elements, including an imitation of the inner mesh of the end can. It replaces the standard plastic exhaust on a kit of the Yamaha YZR-M1 of 2006 to 2010.
The exhaust is a prominent visible feature of a racing machine. A metal version allows realistic coloring of the heat-stressed surfaces with yellowish and bluish tints and looks more convincing than plastic.
Degrease the metal parts and bond them with super glue. Create the glowing metal effect with thin coats of transparent shades. Try the assembly dry before gluing.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
