This plastic kit in 1:12 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Hasegawa depicts the Kawasaki KR250 sports motorcycle in a red and gray color finish. The box contains injection-molded plastic parts and decals. According to the instructions the model can be built in different seat configurations and also with the fairing removed.
The Kawasaki KR250 was a road-going sports motorcycle inspired by the brand's racing machines. It was powered by a liquid-cooled two-stroke twin of 250 cc in the tandem-twin layout, which was derived from the factory racers. It was a lightweight and agile quarter-liter machine of the 1980s.
With motorcycles, give attention to the frame, the engine and the chrome parts. Smooth the fairing with filler and spray it with an airbrush; a gloss coat will heighten the look of the paint and make it easier to apply the decals with the sponsor markings. Use liquid cement for plastic on the joints.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
