A detailing accessory to a model, not a kit. Hose joints are miniature fittings which on a model terminate and connect routing: brake hoses at the calipers and the pumps, fuel and coolant pipes or feeds to the instruments. Set B is the second of the two mixed packages of this range for 1:12 scale; the exact composition of either is not stated here.
When to reach for set B
Mixed packages make sense where you need to terminate routing of different diameters on one model and do not want to buy several single-size bags. Set B suits topping up a stock after an earlier purchase as well, because the composition of the pair A and B differs. If you are building a model where you know that you will run the whole routing with a single diameter of hose, a single-size package is the better fit.
First try the path of the routing dry with a piece of wire and only then shorten the hose according to it. Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, otherwise the paint peels. Widen the holes with a micro drill bit carefully and without pressure, as the thin wall of a fitting cracks easily. Do the gluing with super glue in minute drops, so that the glue does not get inside and block the passage for the hose. Paint off the model over a thin base, as metallic shades on the fittings contrast nicely with a colored hose. Fit the routing only onto a varnished frame.
