The McLaren MP4-12C is a British sports car with the engine mounted behind the crew, which also served as the basis of a competition version for endurance and sprint races of touring specials. The racing version is recognized by its large rear wing, a reworked front end and a conspicuous color scheme with the markings of the team and its partners. This sheet relates to the car of the Boutsen Ginion team with race number 16 from Monza in 2014.
Decals for a model in 1:24 scale: race numbers, lettering and insignia belonging to the form given. The extent of the sheet, the position of the elements and the kit they are prepared for are given in the manufacturer's documentation enclosed with the package. The colored areas of the body are applied with paint and the decals add the markings.
Prepare the surface smooth and glossy. Cut the element out together with its paper, immerse it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until it starts to slide. Then slide it into place, draw the excess water off and settle it with a decal softener, so the decal clings in the recesses and over the edges as well. Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is not a self-adhesive version: a soaked self-adhesive film is ruined. Go over the finished markings with varnish, so the edges are lost.
The car kit, the paints, the decal softener and the varnish are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
