The Dassault Rafale is a French multirole combat aircraft with a delta wing and canard surfaces, powered by a pair of Snecma M88 engines. The C version is the single-seat variant of the French Air Force, while the M version is the single-seat carrier variant of the navy, adapted for operation from an aircraft carrier. Both versions have a single-seat cockpit with the same layout of the pilot's station, which is why one common set covers them. The two-seat Rafale B has a different cockpit and is covered by separate sets.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water before gluing to clear them of residual mold release agent, otherwise a primer will not hold on them. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw or a cutting disc rather than a knife and level the surface with an abrasive; protect your breathing while sanding and preferably sand wet. Resin is bonded with super glue, as ordinary modeling cement for plastic does not hold on it. Apply a primer before painting and only then the base shade of the cockpit. Try the tub dry into the fuselage halves before gluing, as sanding the sides down slightly is a usual part of the work with resin cockpits. It is worth finishing the inside of the cockpit with a dark wash and a dry brush, because it is visible under an open canopy.
