This is a resin detailing accessory from Quickboost, not a model of a helicopter. The set contains protective blanking covers for sensors and openings with the characteristic red Remove Before Flight tags, which on the real machine are taken off before takeoff. The accessory gives a parked model the authentic look of a machine standing on the ground. It is meant for models of the Mil Mi-24V/VP attack helicopter in 1:48 scale.
The Mil Mi-24, NATO reporting name Hind, is a Soviet heavy attack helicopter that can also carry troops. The Mi-24V/VP versions are among the most widespread and carry heavy fixed and external armament. The covers with their tags are used while the machine is parked, to protect sensitive parts from dirt.
Carefully separate the small parts from the casting blocks. Wash and degrease the resin before gluing. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the tags a saturated red and the lettering can be suggested; fit the covers in their places on a model in its parked configuration.
This is an accessory meant for further work. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
