This is a resin detail accessory from the maker Quickboost, not an aircraft model. The set replaces the corresponding plastic part of the leading intake on the vertical tail with a more truly cast resin part with a deepened throat. Intended for models of the Soviet Sukhoi Su-25 Frogfoot ground attack aircraft in 1:48 scale.
The Sukhoi Su-25, NATO reporting name Frogfoot, is a ground attack aircraft for close support of ground forces. The smaller air intakes, among them the one in the area of the vertical tail, are among the small but visually noticeable details that injection-molded plastic often simplifies.
Separate the small part carefully from the casting block and clean the edges up. Wash and degrease the resin before gluing. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Spray the inside of the throat before fitting, so that the depth stands out.
This is an accessory intended for further work. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
