Responsibility details are not available.
A kit figure in 1:35 scale from a range whose subject is leading prisoners away from the battlefield. The subject is a soldier of British or Allied Commonwealth units in the period of 1943 to 1945. It is not a kit of equipment, nor a finished painted figure, but an item to assemble and paint. The name of the range refers to the wartime British nickname for German soldiers, so the figure is conceived as an escort for prisoners.
A scene with an escort of prisoners is rewarding for a diorama because it brings figures from both sides of the front into one story and needs no equipment to do it. This figure represents the escorting side and can be combined with other figures in the same range, which are separate items. Check the particular unit, the equipment and the armament on the box.
Before building, wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry. Cut off the mold seams and the casting remains with a sharp knife and sand them with fine paper. Try the assembly dry; in an escort scene it is good to line up the stance and the gaze of the figures in relation to one another beforehand. Apply a base coat before painting. British uniforms look better when built by layering, from the base shade through a darker wash into the folds to a fine highlight on the edges. Paint the face last in thin coats and unify the surface with a matte varnish.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
