This is a set of 3D decals in 1:350 scale with stars and national emblems rendered in color, meant for models of Soviet and Russian warships. It is not a kit or a model in its own right but accessory markings that replace ordinary thin decals with elements that read three-dimensionally. The maker is Quinta Studio.
The set makes it possible to mark the stars and state emblems on the hull or the superstructure of a warship model convincingly. The three-dimensional version gives the emblems a fine relief and depth that flat decals cannot offer.
The elements are applied like decals onto a smooth, preferably gloss base. We recommend proceeding carefully, soaking up the excess water and pressing the element onto the surface with a soft cotton swab. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as the chemicals attack the printed resin. Once dry, the whole can be sealed with a protective clear coat.
These are accessory markings. The model, paints and clear coat are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
