Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale captures the modern American M1278A1 off-road vehicle of the JLTV family in the Heavy Guns Carrier version, equipped with the M153 CROWS remote controlled weapon station. According to the maker the box also contains photo-etched parts. The maker is I Love Kit.
The M1278A1 belongs to the JLTV (Joint Light Tactical Vehicle) family developed by the American company Oshkosh as a successor to the Humvee vehicles. It is a tough four-wheeled off-road vehicle; the Heavy Guns Carrier version carries the M153 CROWS remote controlled weapon station with a 12.7 mm heavy machine gun on the roof, which the crew operates from the protected interior.
Glue the parts with a liquid modeling cement for plastic and fix the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. Apply a base coat (a primer) before painting and spray the colors with an airbrush. Finish the interior of the cab and the chassis before the body is closed. Modern camouflage schemes come out well with a fine emphasis of the edges and a light patina.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
