This set of painting masks cut from kabuki tape in 1:48 scale from New Ware, at the ADVANCED level, is intended for spraying the glazing and the other clear parts of models of the two-seat F-16 versions, that is the F-16B, F-16D, F-16F and F-16I. It is an accessory for masking during painting, not a kit.
Two-seat Vipers have a longer cockpit with a larger canopy, and masking it by hand is slow work. The ADVANCED level is more extensive than the basic set and adds further masked features to the cockpit frames, so that the paint transitions come out sharp and even.
Degrease the clear parts, transfer the masks onto the glazing according to the numbered list and press them carefully against the edges of the frames. Spray the paint in thin coats so that it does not creep under an edge. Once dry, lift the masks off carefully.
The package contains masks only; the model, paints and glue are not part of it.
