Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely pre-cut self-adhesive Peewit masks intended for painting a plastic model of the Arado Ar-96 trainer, or of its postwar Czechoslovak version, the Avia C-2, in the small 1:144 scale. This is not a kit or a finished model — these are painting masks that reliably cover the intricate frames of the long canopy glazing when paint is sprayed. It is precisely on an aircraft with a glazed two-seat cabin that the masks make the work considerably faster and more accurate. The masks are shaped to fit a specific kit in the given scale.
The Arado Ar-96 was a German single-engine all-metal trainer and the standard advanced trainer of the Luftwaffe in the Second World War. The instructor and the pupil sat in tandem under the long canopy glazing. In occupied Czechoslovakia it was built in shadow production, and after the war the Avia and Letov factories continued with it under the designation C-2, the machines serving for a number of years more.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
