A sheet of decals in 1:144 scale for the C-130H Hercules transport aircraft in Polish service, with a scheme for the centenary of the Polish Air Force and with complete technical stenciling.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Lockheed C-130 Hercules is a four-engined turboprop transport aircraft with a high-set wing and a cargo ramp at the tail. The C-130H version is among the most widespread and serves in dozens of countries. Poland took these machines into service as its main means of long-range transport, and one of them received a special finish for the centenary of the Polish Air Force.
The sheet brings together three groups of motifs: the markings of machines in Polish service, the elements of the anniversary scheme for the centenary of the Polish Air Force, and a complete set of technical stenciling. It is exactly the stenciling that is the biggest job on a large transport aircraft, because it is scattered over the whole fuselage and the wing. The exact layout and the list of elements are given in the instructions enclosed by the manufacturer.
Finish the model in paint and polish the areas under the decals with a gloss varnish. Cut the elements out closely to the printing and apply them step by step in smaller groups, since with complete stenciling it is easy to lose track. Once they are transferred, blot the water away with a soft cloth and let them dry thoroughly. On riveted areas and around doors a softener helps. Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is a self-adhesive version, because a soaked self-adhesive film is ruined beyond recovery.
The model, the paints and the glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
