The CFM56-7BE engines for the model of the Boeing 737 in 1:144 scale. From the parts you build either two closed nacelles or one open one; according to the name the set is intended for the Zvezda kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The CFM56-7B turbofan is the powerplant of the newer generation Boeing 737s, that is the 737-600, 700 and 800 versions. The letter E at the end of the designation belongs to a later improved form, which was meant to cut fuel consumption and extend the time between overhauls. The mark of the whole line is a nacelle with a flattened underside: a circular intake would not fit under the low-set wing of the Boeing 737, so the nacelle was given a shape you will not find anywhere else. It is exactly this detail that makes the silhouette of the 737 unmistakable even from a distance.
The set gives a choice of two building options. Either you build two closed engine nacelles from it, that is both engine stations of the aircraft, or one nacelle in the open form that lets you look inside. Exactly what opens up on the open variant and how the parts go together is given in the instructions from the manufacturer. According to the name, the set is intended for the Zvezda kit in 1:144 scale.
Decide on the variant before you start gluing, because the parts will build only one of them. The parts are not polystyrene; cyanoacrylate glue holds reliably. Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the rest back, so that the edge of the intake stays thin. On the open variant, paint the inner surfaces before closing the assembly up. Wash and degrease the parts before painting.
For modelers of airliners who want a more accurate shape or a look inside the engine instead of the nacelles from the kit. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
