The injection-molded plastic kit captures the military variant of the DC-9 jet aircraft in 1:144 scale. It is a short-run kit complemented with decals for the military rendition. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The C-9 Nightingale was a military derivative of the Douglas DC-9 airliner, used especially as an aeromedical and transport version. It served for evacuating the wounded and carrying personnel over medium distances. It shared the power plant and the arrangement with the civil DC-9 and complemented them with equipment for its military task.
With short-run kits count on careful cleaning up of the parts, checking the fit and filling the joints of the fuselage if need be. Glue the parts with thin modeling glue for plastic. The color rendition stands out once a primer has been applied; apply the decals onto a gloss base, so that silvering edges do not arise.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
