1:144 GAZ-AAA Soviet WWII cargo truck is a small kit of the Soviet three-axle truck from the Armory brand. The 1:144 format predestines it for completing airfield scenes.

A miniature kit of the Soviet truck that Armory issues under its own name. The 1:144 scale is the traditional domain of aircraft, so the vehicle serves chiefly to enliven airfield, railway station and rear-area scenes, where only ground equipment gives the space a comparative scale. The finished truck fits comfortably in the palm of the hand, which the fineness of the division of the mold corresponds to.
The GAZ-AAA came about by lengthening the light GAZ-AA truck with a third axle, so that the two-axle polutorka became a more off-road machine with a 6x4 arrangement. The design came from the licensed Ford, thanks to which it was simple and easy to repair even in field conditions. The Red Army deployed the truck to carry ammunition, fuel and troops, and its chassis became the basis of the armored cars of the BA range.
In this format the cleanliness of the parting lines decides: first remove the flash, and only then join anything. It is practical to spray the chassis and the cab separately and to put them together only after drying. Soviet green looks truer when it is lightened slightly on the higher-lying areas, and fine dust on the fenders does more work than heavy mud effects.
The truck is supplied unassembled and without a coat of paint; the package contains neither glue nor paints.
