1:144 Japanese pilot of the Second World War, two pieces is a set of small pilot figures in 1:144 scale. It is not a kit or an airplane model but an accessory for a model or an airfield scene that you add to what you already have built.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds two small pilot figures scaled to 1:144 from the Czech accessory maker Brengun. An adult figure comes to roughly twelve millimeters in this scale, so it is a very small part meant to bring a model to life: on its own it is not a model and it cannot be built without the aircraft the figures belong to.
Wash the figure, carefully sand down the parting seam and cut the casting remnant off with a sharp scalpel against a surface, not in your hand. At twelve millimeters it does not pay to carve detail: the paint does the work. The proven procedure is a primer, a base shade for the flight suit and the helmet, a thin dark wash into the folds and finally a dry brush to pull out the edges and the volume. The face only needs a single flesh shade and a dot of dark paint; finer painting is lost at this size and looks overdone from close up.
In the cockpit of a model, where often only the upper half of the figure is adapted, because the rest below the cockpit sill cannot be seen anyway. Then by a parked aircraft, at the boarding steps or in an airfield scene on a base. Two figures in the box let you crew two models, or try the painting out on the first one.
The figures are supplied unpainted and without a model. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
