This part is aimed, according to the name, at North Korea. It is a stand-alone decal set, not a kit. Check the number of schemes and the particular machines covered against the illustration on the packaging.
The MiG-21 is a single-engined supersonic fighter with its characteristic delta wing and a circular air intake with a movable cone. It appeared in many versions, which differ in the shape of the spine, the cockpit and the equipment, and it became one of the most widespread jet combat aircraft of all. A great many countries around the world operated it, which goes with the wide variety of camouflage schemes and national insignia that the decal series draws on.
Once the model is painted, even it out with a gloss varnish so the surface is smooth. Cut the decal out, release it in lukewarm water and transfer it into place. While it is still damp, the position can be adjusted with a soft brush. Blot the surplus water away and let the film settle. Over engraved lines and on curved areas use a softener, which relaxes the decal and draws it down to the surface. Once everything is perfectly dry, spray the model with a matte or semi-gloss varnish. In 1:144 scale the difference between decals applied carefully and quickly shows most, because the markings are small and any silvering is conspicuous.
The package holds decals. The kit, the paints and the varnishes are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
