The Nieuport Ni-17 Dual Combo 1:144 (Valom) is a plastic kit containing two models of the French fighter biplane of the First World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:144 scale from the Czech brand Valom contains two complete models of the French fighter biplane Nieuport 17 in one box (Dual Combo). Photo-etched parts and a decal sheet with several marking options are included, so a pair of differently finished machines can be built.
The Nieuport 17 was a French fighter sesquiplane of the First World War, that is a biplane with a lower wing markedly smaller than the upper one. It followed on from the Nieuport 11 and 16 types, it was somewhat larger and it made better use of a more powerful engine. It was one of the most successful fighters of its day and flew with Allied squadrons on a number of fronts.
The tiny 1:144 scale calls for care. Glue the fine photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue and the plastic joints with thin cement for plastic. Prepare the wing dihedral and any bracing wires in advance; after painting and decaling we recommend a unifying varnish. Collectors with limited space will appreciate the small dimensions.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
