Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:144 scale with the current markings of the Spanish Air Force. According to the name it holds seven sizes, which match the real diameters of 400, 550, 700, 750, 800, 900 and 1000 mm, that is roughly 2.8 to 6.9 mm in the scale. There are two sets on the sheet. It is an accessory to a finished model, not a kit.
Seven diameters in one package are no needless luxury. Modern aircraft differ from one another in size far more than the machines of one wartime generation: between a light trainer and a large transport aircraft there are several centimeters of length in 1:144 scale, and the insignia on them is correspondingly different in size. A graded range therefore makes it possible to cover several different machines from one sheet and at the same time to choose the right proportion of the insignia against the area it will go on. The smallest decals on this sheet measure barely three millimeters, which is a size where skill matters more than equipment.
Small decals have rules of their own. Cut them out with a new scalpel blade on a hard surface, not with scissors, as scissors bend the film and it cracks at the fold. Do not put them loose into water but with a piece of the backing paper, otherwise you will have trouble finding them in the dish. Transfer them to the model on the tip of a damp brush or a stick. The surface must be glossy, otherwise a matte silvery rim will surround a small insignia, and at this size it is relatively larger than on big decals. Once dry, go over it very lightly with a cotton bud, wipe the adhesive residue off with a damp cloth and even the surface out with a matte or semi-gloss varnish according to the character of the model. Be sparing with the softener on small decals.
This is a decal sheet, not a kit. The model, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
