This product is NOT an airplane model but a photo-etched brass detail set from Brengun. It makes models of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX fighter in 1:144 scale more accurate and replaces thick-walled plastic parts with thin, sharply etched surfaces. The set is cut for the Eduard kit.
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX was a British Second World War fighter powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin 60 series engine. It was among the most successful Spitfire versions and closed the performance gap with the German fighters of the day.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and make the bends in a photo-etch bending tool. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the etched parts before painting and prime them.
An accessory for a more advanced build. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
