A sheet of decals in 1:16 scale with the symbols used on German armored vehicles, the seventh part of a numbered series. The contents differ from the other parts; check exactly what the sheet carries on the packaging. It is not a kit but markings for a model that is already built and painted.
Large static models and remote-controlled vehicles alike are built in 1:16 scale. The markings on them are much more striking than at smaller scales, so it pays to reach for a printed sheet instead of hand painting; a crisp edge to the design is very visible at a large scale. Numbered symbol sheets are also useful when a kit offers only one marking variant and the modeler wants to build a different machine or to add missing details.
Coat the areas under the decals with gloss varnish, otherwise bubbles form under the film and the edges turn white. Cut the decal out close to the design, soak it for a few seconds in lukewarm water and let it rest until it starts to slide on the paper. Settle it with a brush, draw the excess water off and use a softener, so that the design follows the texture of the surface. With large designs, push the air out from the center toward the edges and leave enough water under the film for the markings still to be moved. Once dry, coat the model with a matte varnish.
It is an accessory for a model. The kit, paints, varnish and softener are not part of the package, unless stated otherwise.
