The third of the range of spare renditions for a model of the eight-wheeled reconnaissance car in the large scale. The wheel comes as a single piece and is meant either to add equipment to the vehicle that a kit does not always contain, or to replace the original part in a matching pattern. In the large scale the difference between tread patterns is clear at first glance, so you can match the spare to the wheels you already have on the vehicle or deliberately choose a different pattern.
The most heavily armed version of this family carried a long 7.5 cm anti-tank gun on an exposed superstructure. It came about only at the close of the war, when the original scout turned into an improvised destroyer of armored vehicles that was to attack from ambush and vanish at once. The armor did not protect such a vehicle even from fire by larger-caliber small arms, so all its strength rested on the first shot and a quick withdrawal.
Mix the rubber part from dark gray with a drop of brown; pure black kills volume in a large scale. Complete the mounting of the spare on the vehicle with a wire stirrup or a strip of aluminum foil, so that the part does not hang in the air without support.
