A pair of front wheels with the common off-road tread pattern for 1:16 scale kits of the Sd.Kfz. 250 armored half-track from Das Werk.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Sd.Kfz. 250 was a light German armored half-track of the Second World War. At the front it had two steerable wheels on a plain axle, at the rear a tracked run with drive sprockets and unpowered road wheels. The front wheels are the only place on the vehicle with an ordinary pneumatic tire, which is why a viewer's eye settles on them unprompted. In 1:16 scale even a single block of the tread is visible on the casing, so it pays to give it some attention.
According to the name the box holds two front wheels with the common off-road tread pattern, that is with the pattern that appears most often in period photographs. The wheels are intended for 1:16 scale Sd.Kfz. 250 kits from Das Werk and replace the parts supplied in the box. A version with the less common tread pattern exists for the same vehicle, so it is possible to choose according to the particular subject and photograph.
A pair of front wheels is supplied. Paints, glue and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
