A plastic kit of the supercar in 1:24 scale by the Japanese brand Aoshima, which has long specialized in road and sports cars. The Orange Pearl designation tells this release from the two other color versions of the same kit, which the manufacturer issues alongside it. The year in the name refers to the model year of the real car.
The Lamborghini Aventador came in 2011 in place of the Murcielago. In its initial LP 700-4 form it has a naturally aspirated twelve-cylinder mounted longitudinally ahead of the rear axle and permanent all-wheel drive. The structural basis is a carbon monocoque with aluminum frames, thanks to which the car has exceptional stiffness at a relatively low weight. The scissor doors, the extremely low nose and the sharply broken surfaces of the body follow on from the classic shape language of the marque and are the reason why the Aventador is among the most sought-after modern subjects with modelers. Pronounced pearl shades belong to it inseparably and stand out on the model just as well as on the real car.
Pearl and light shades let the base show through, so an even base color matters with them even more than elsewhere. Rid the body of mold seams, sand it and apply the base in one continuous coat. Spray the covering shade thinly and in several passes, finally varnish it with a clear coat and polish it. Finish and paint the interior, the chassis and the engine bay before you close the body up. Glue the transparent parts only at the end, ideally with a glue that does not fog.
The model is supplied unassembled, as a plastic kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
