1:16 Sd.Kfz 251/1 accessories set No. 2 is a Black Dog resin set of accessories and stowage for large 1:16 models of the German Sd.Kfz 251/1 half-track.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin accessory set in 1:16 scale from the Czech maker Black Dog, the second set in the range of accessories for this type. It is an aftermarket set of stowage and field gear for a large model of the German medium armored half-track Sd.Kfz 251/1, not a kit of the vehicle. In the large scale, fine details such as tarpaulins, crates, jerrycans, packs, ammunition boxes and personal crew equipment come into their own.
The roomy open hull of the half-track all but invites a filling of realistic stowage; it gives the model a lived-in look and lets you tell the story of a particular crew. Thanks to the 1:16 scale the accessories can be painted with a high degree of detail.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the stowage on its own, then tie it together with filters and weathering; in the large scale the transitions between colors, the stitching of the fabric and the scuffed spots all come out well.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
