U-STAR Aging Enamel Powder Matte Black

This is a dry weathering pigment in a matte black shade, not a paint with covering power. It is used for weathering and aging models — for suggesting soot around exhausts and gun barrels, smoke stains, dust, burnt metal and general grime. Its matte character gives the surface a realistic, non-reflective texture.

Use

Apply it with a soft brush where needed and work it into recesses and up to edges
Build the intensity up gradually in layers until you reach the effect you want
For a lasting hold, fix it with a pigment fixer or a fine clear coat
It holds best on a matte surface
