1:32 Messerschmitt Bf 109G-2/G-4 by Red Fox Studio is a sheet of 3D cockpit decals for a single-seat fighter. An accessory for the cabin of a model, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set is intended for the cabin of the single-seat Bf 109 in the G-2 and G-4 versions. It brings a layered print with a thickness of its own that is applied with water and replaces the hand painting of the instruments and the side panels. In the large 1:32 scale the cabin of the 109 is fairly cramped, but that is exactly why every detail in it stands out.
The Bf 109 had a single-seat cabin with a pronounced tubular structure, an instrument panel in front of the pilot and controls on the side walls. The G-2 and G-4 versions differed from each other mainly in equipment outside the cabin, while the layout of the pilot's station stayed close, and that is why one sheet is offered for both. Always check the particular differences between individual machines against documentation as you build.
Fixing and protecting with varnish
The closed cabin of the 109 will take a lot, but during the rest of the work you have it within reach all the time, so there is a risk of scuffing the relief. Let the decals dry thoroughly, ideally overnight, and handle the part only by the edges. If you want to strengthen the surface with varnish, reach for a fine matte overcoat, spray it dry from a greater distance and in thin coats; a heavy wet coat will ripple the relief print. Always try the procedure on an offcut of the sheet, so that you know how the layer behaves with your varnish.
This is a cockpit accessory, not an aircraft model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
