A supplementary set for a model of the Brabus Mercedes-Benz G63 6x6 in 1:18 scale. It combines resin parts, photo-etched parts and decals.

The Mercedes-Benz G63 6x6 is an off-road giant with three axles, derived from the classic G-Class and from a military chassis. Portal axles lift the body high above the ground, the doubled rear axle stretches the vehicle out in length and the huge tires make it one of the most conspicuous production cars of all. Brabus is a German firm that modifies Mercedes-Benz cars; its versions tend to be noticeably sharper and rounded out with coachwork elements of its own.
The set combines three kinds of part. The resin parts replace or round out shaped elements, the photo-etched parts bring thin metal surfaces that cannot be made from thicker material, and the decals round out the lettering and the markings.
The resin parts are not polystyrene, so do not use glue for polystyrene on them; cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little way from the part, sand the remainder down and wash and degrease the part before painting. Cut the photo-etched parts out of the fret with metal shears or separate them with a blade on a hard surface, bend them over a sharp edge or in a bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue; degrease the metal before painting and use a primer meant for metal. Transfer the decals onto a smooth gloss base and check the procedure in the manufacturer's instructions.
For more experienced modelers who are building or improving a model in 1:18 scale and are not afraid of working with etch. Paints and glue are not part of the package, unless stated otherwise.
