The Canadian Leopard C2 is a version of the Leopard 1 fitted with MEXAS modular add-on armor. This SX-Art accessory in 1:35 scale adds a lively shine to its optical devices. It is not a kit and not a set of plastic parts.
A film of this type is always prepared for one particular model, because the layout and the shape of the vision ports differ between the kits of various manufacturers even when the vehicle is the same. SX-Art makes the Leopard C2 MEXAS film in several versions that share the same name, and this particular one is cut for the Takom kit. Make sure which kit you are building, so that the set fits.
The film is not painted or clear-coated; a coat of paint would bury the holographic layer. It goes on as the very last step, onto a clear-coated and weathered model, into a clean dry seat. Tweezers with fine tips handle it well, and a soft stick is best for pressing it down.
