An SX-Art tint film for the Typhoon-K armored vehicle in 1:72 scale gives the glazing of the model the colored cast of armored glass. In this scale the parts are very small.

This self-adhesive tint film from SX-Art is intended for the clear parts of a model of the Typhoon-K wheeled armored vehicle in 1:72 scale. It is stuck straight onto the transparent moldings and takes the place of spraying clear tinting paints, which are hard to lay down evenly on surfaces this small. It is not a kit, but an accessory for a model.
The windows and vision ports of the Typhoon are genuinely tiny in 1:72 and the film is made to match. The parts are hard to pick up with your fingers, they fold easily and they can be blown away. Have ready fine-tipped tweezers, the tip of a sharp knife to lift a part off its backing, a soft wooden stick and good light; a magnifier will make the work much easier. It pays to work over a light-colored surface so that a small part can be seen if it falls.
Wash and degrease the clear part. Lift a part with the knife, move it with tweezers and lay it on dry first; do not touch the adhesive side with your fingers, as a print shows through the film. Once the position is right, press it down with the soft stick from the center toward the edges so that no bubble is left. It goes on most easily on loose moldings, before they are glued into the hull. Do not overcoat the film, as it would lose the shine that gives the impression of glass.
