Self-adhesive, precisely pre-cut painting masks from the Art Scale brand in the express fit version for the plastic model of the F-35B Lightning II fighter in 1:48 scale. The set is an accessory for painting, not a kit. The parts are numbered and ready to be stuck on quickly according to the instructions. The double-sided version makes it possible to spray the glazing frames from the outer as well as the inner side. The target kit is Italeri.
The masks are stuck onto the cockpit canopy and other surfaces that are to stay unpainted or to be sprayed separately. The film follows the shapes of the frames faithfully, so the color transitions are sharp without the slow cutting of tape. The set is suited above all to an airbrush.
The Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning II is the short takeoff and vertical landing (STOVL) variant of the fifth generation fighter. It is notable for its reduced radar signature and its lift fan, thanks to which it can operate from short strips and decks.
