Haropla Haro Happy Yellow is a plastic kit of the round robot figure Haro in a yellow form from the Japanese firm Bandai. The parts are pre-colored and join by clipping together, so you can build the model without glue and without paints.

In the box there are pre-colored plastic sprues; the parts are clipped from them and snap into each other according to the instructions. The basic appearance thus comes about without painting and without glue, which makes it an ideal way into modeling even for a complete newcomer, or a quick build for a single evening.
Haro is one of the best known mascot figures of the Japanese modeling world: a round body, big eyes and hinged parts on the sides. The Haropla range releases it in a whole scale of color versions that differ precisely in shade, so they are collected in pairs and threes and look good side by side on a shelf. This item is the yellow Happy Yellow variant.
Clip the parts off with good modeling nippers a little away from the gate and only then even the remainder out with a sharp knife or a fine file, because on a pre-colored surface every white burr shows at first glance. The result benefits from running a paneliner through the engraved lines and from spraying the finished figure with a matte or gloss varnish, which unifies the surface and hides the marks of handling. Anyone who wants to go further can touch the individual parts up with a brush, but pre-colored plastic does not call for it.
The set is supplied as a collection of pre-colored parts to be assembled. Paints and glue are not needed for the basic build.
