A set of accurately cut self-adhesive masks from the Art Scale brand in 1:72 scale for a model of the Republic F-84F Thunderstreak. It is not a kit or decals but double-sided masks (express fit), which make the clean spraying of the cockpit frames and other clear parts easier; the set as a rule also contains masks for the wheels. The masks are laid straight onto the parts, hold by themselves and save time when masking.
The mask covers the clear surfaces so that when the paint is sprayed only the required parts stay clear and the frames have sharp, straight edges. The double-sided version makes it possible to mask the glazing from the outer and the inner side.
First degrease the clear parts. Take the masks carefully off the sheet, lay them on the glazing and press them down so that they adhere well along the frames. Spray the paint in thin coats so that it does not run under the edge. Once dry, remove the masks before the paint has cured completely.
An accessory for masking. Paints and the kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
